The diorama of Kensuke’s kingdom

This term we have been reading a book called Kensuke’s kingdom and we were set to make a diorama about the book. And so everybody got in a group of 2 or 3. My group was Unique and Aria. Unique wasn’t always there but when she was she helped out and when Aria was there she did a fair amount of work as well. We also wanted to see what it would look like if it was a diorama and the senior class made some dioramas and we got some inspiration from them.

I learnt about to work as a group and not to boss people around. And I had a good experment with my friends and to get to know them better. It is also a good experment and it was also fun. We all worked to together as a group. it is a good way to get to know people better and to become better friends. When I made it we used a shoe box and lots of paint and polymer clay.

What do you now about dioramas and Kensuke’s kingdom.  What type of diorama would you do.

Hope you in joyed it and please write questions in the comments!!

Kangaroos

Kangaroos by Tilda McCallum

In writing we have been learning how to use interesting words in texts and I have learned about kangaroos and this is what I have made.

Action Stations

For Action Stations I picked earring making. First I designed my earring pattern and chose which one I was going to make. Secondly I chose the polymer clay colours I wanted to make my earring out of. Then I created my earrings by rolling out my clay then I cut my shapes out. After I put my earrings on the tray ready to  be baked by Fi. Next I got Fi to put some hoops on my earrings. I enjoyed paying around with the polymer clay. I found getting the shapes out of the cutters challenging.
